Lois Johnson Learning & Child Care Center, Inc., located in Bethel Park, has been educating and caring for young children in the community for over five decades. Care is provided for children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Hours of operation are weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
The Center is opening its 6th location in Bethel Park. The Early Childhood Center is located on Brightwood Rd., and four school-age sites are located at Franklin, Lincoln, Memorial and Washington Elementary Schools. We are taking registration for our new site at Penn Elementary opening Fall 2019. Summer Camp is located in Franklin Elementary during the summer.
Each child is an individual with his/her own needs and will be treated as such.
Each child will be treated with respect.
Each child needs care and nurturing in the absence of his/her parents as well as with them.
Each child needs directions for his/her activities with room for creativity.
Each child must treat the others with respect and fairness in work and play.
Each child relaxes and participates well in an atmosphere of informal structure.
Each child works best with guidelines that are consistent.

About Our Centers & Staff...
There's a reason we've been around for so long and are recommended so highly by clients. Lois Johnson Learning & Child Care Centers are licensed by the Department of Human Resources (DHS) and are Keystone STARS Centers (a collaboration between the Pennsylvania Department of Education & DHS).
Our staff members are carefully selected for their caregiving/teaching experience, training and educational background, along with their sensitivity to the individual needs of the school-age child. Staff are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR. All have current clearances and meet the requirements of DHS for licensed child care facility staff.
