Educating Children for Over Five Decades...

​Lois Johnson Learning & Child Care Center, located in Bethel Park and South Park, has been educating and caring for young children in the community for over five decades. Care is provided for children ages 6 weeks -Kindergarten. 
Hours of operation are weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.  

​Our Early Childhood Center in Bethel Park is located on Brightwood Rd. Our Early Learning Center in South Park is located on Brownsville Rd., close to Venetia, Finleyville, McMurray, Bethel Park and South Park. We operate five school-age sites (Kindergarten- 7th Grade), located within Franklin, Lincoln, Memorial, Penn and Washington Elementary Schools in the Bethel Park School District.
​All day Kindergarten care is available at Washington Elementary.

About Our Centers & Staff...

There's a reason we've been around for so long and are recommended so highly by clients.  Lois Johnson Learning & Child Care Centers are licensed by the Department of Human Resources (DHS) and are Keystone STARS Centers (a collaboration between the Pennsylvania Department of Education & DHS).  We are also members of the Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). 

​Our staff members are carefully selected for their caregiving/teaching experience, training, and educational background, along with their sensitivity to the individual needs of the school-age child.  Staff are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR.  All have current clearances and meet the requirements of DHS for licensed child care facility staff. All of our early learning centers are nut-free facilities.
